Project Brief

To create a brand that would position Matt Moran’s new restaurant, Chiswick, as a relaxed neighbourhood diner nestled in a unique, historic garden setting.

Project Innovation / Need

Frost's creative process was inspired by the site’s historic gardens, and the recently planted 150 square metre vegetable garden that will supply the restaurant with fresh produce.
Every element of the design has a botanical influence – from the logo design featuring tendril-like typography, through to the soft muted palette, sustainable materials and photographic studies of plants drawn from the gardens.

The design is elegant, sensual and totally grounded in an appreciation of the natural elements that make the restaurant such a special place.

Design Challenge

It was extremely important for Frost* to bring the gardens (both the vegetable and park) to life through the identity and design. This was achieved through the fluid script for the logo and the photography suite.

Sustainability

Frost* highly stands for sustainability in the studio and in their projects. All paper used within the Frost* studio is recyclable paper and carbon neutral.
